Is a domain or IP on a spam or abuse blocklist? Spamhaus, SpamCop, SURBL, URIBL and more, in one check.
Free, no login. Lookups are plain DNS queries to each list.
It looks up the domain's server IP addresses on the main IP blocklists (Spamhaus ZEN, SpamCop, PSBL, UCEPROTECT, Mailspike, DroneBL and others), and the domain name itself on domain blocklists (Spamhaus DBL, SURBL, URIBL). You can also enter an IP address directly.
Use it before buying a domain to make sure it has a clean history, or to find out why email from your domain is being rejected. Results can be shared: /tools/dnsbl.php?domain=example.com.
A DNSBL is a public list of IP addresses or domains linked to spam, malware or abuse. Mail servers and security tools query these lists to decide whether to trust email or links from a sender.
A domain or its server IP that sits on blocklists can have email delivery problems and lower trust. Checking before you buy tells you whether the name has a clean history.
Some lists (for example Spamhaus and URIBL) refuse lookups that come from large shared DNS servers. That answer is not a listing. Check that list directly on its own website if you need certainty.
Fix the cause first (an open relay, a hacked site, a spamming account), then use the removal or lookup page of the list that reported you. Most lists remove an IP automatically once the problem stops.
