1. About these terms
These terms apply when you browse NameHub, send an offer, buy a domain name from us, or use our free domain tools. By doing any of these you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Listings and prices
- All domains listed are owned by us unless the listing says otherwise.
- Prices are in US dollars. They can change at any time until a sale is agreed.
- Discounts apply only until the date shown on the listing.
- If a listing shows a clearly wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the sale before transfer and refund any payment in full.
3. Offers
- An offer is a request, not a contract. A sale is agreed only when we confirm it to you in writing by email.
- Some domains have a minimum offer, shown on the domain page. Offers below it are not considered.
- A domain marked "under offer" can still receive offers, but another buyer may complete their purchase first.
4. Payment and escrow
- Payments go through Spaceship SafePay escrow. You pay Spaceship, not us.
- Spaceship holds the payment until the domain is in your account, then releases it to us.
- We add no fees of our own. Spaceship's terms apply to the payment itself.
5. Transfer
- After payment, we start the transfer and guide you through each step by email. Most transfers finish within 1 to 3 business days.
- You may need a registrar account and to accept the transfer or enter an authorization code. Delays caused by an incomplete step on your side don't make the sale invalid.
- Registry rules can add waiting periods for some extensions, for example after a recent registration or transfer.
6. Refunds
- If we can't transfer the domain to you, you get a full refund through escrow.
- Once the domain is in your account, the sale is final and there is no refund.
7. Your use of the domain
You are responsible for how you use a domain after you own it, including making sure it doesn't infringe anyone's trademark. Our trademark search links and appraisals are a starting point, not legal advice or a guarantee.
8. Free domain tools
- WHOIS, DNS, SSL, appraisal and the other tools are free and provided as they are. Results come from public sources and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check important details with your registrar.
- Appraisals are automated estimates, not an offer to buy or sell at that price.
- Fair use applies. Automated scraping, bulk querying beyond the rate limits, or using the tools to harm others is not allowed, and we may block it.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or the tools. Our total liability for any domain sale is limited to the amount you paid for that domain.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version. A sale already agreed stays under the terms that applied when it was agreed.
